12 Weeks to a New You!

 

You'll learn to make better food choices.

One of the first things to learn when reshaping is how to eat. The goal is to help you make healthy eating both simple and fulfilling. When you look at today's fad diets, few of them are really grounded in good nutrition.  For example, low-fat plans often neglect excellent sources of protein and healthy fats, while low-carb dieters tend to lose out on a range of very nutritious grains, legumes, and fruits.

You'll learn an easy way to combine food groups.

The eating plan includes all food groups and is neither fad dieting nor deprivation eating.  A eating plan based in reality with a proper balance between proteins, carbohydrates and healthy fats.

No one eats the perfect diet 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.  Part of being able to have lifelong success is to be able to eat cake on your birthday or enjoy the holiday cookies your grandmother made and not feel like you "blew it".  The key is to eat well on a regular basis so that when you choose to indulge, you don't feel like you've done something wrong.

Successful eating is about what you do most of the time, it is not about perfection.

 

You'll begin to transform your body.

When adding an exercise program with a combination of aerobic activity and resistance training so you can build more muscle, maintain strong bones and joints and improve your strength and energy.

Building lean muscle is like storing gold.  It takes up a small space, however it is very valuable because it requires extra calories per day (at rest) while body fat requires no energy - fat just takes up space.

Regarding aerobic activity, you'll be excited to know that you don't need to slave for hours on end on a treadmill.  When you find out how little time that is spend on aerobic activity you will be shocked because it's not about quantity of time but rather quality of time.
